WELCOME TO POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY APPLIED TO SPORT!

This idea began to take shape when I was in the chair Enfoques Salugénicos in the second semester of the second year of the degree in psychology, dictated in the Universidad de Palermo. Which one is considered a pioneer at Iberoamerica in regard to Psicología Salugénica, or better known as Positive Psychology.

However, what started as an idea, took shape as a project when I was about to graduate in mid 2007. Obviously, the Encuentros Iberoamericanos of Positive Psychology, also conducted by the Universidad de Palermo, were a pluss to feed my respect and curiosity for this international academic movement. But fundamentally, I felt as a challenge to take active participation on it, and to introduce some contributions that positive psychology could make to applied sports psychology. Field in which I form constantly, specialize and currently perform.

Positive Psychology Applied to Sport is the first registered online space, dedicated to promoting the positive academic movement and it´s valuable participation in applied sports psychology.

Here you'll find relevant information and translated articles about these two exciting themes and the project of Systemic Synergy in Sport (understood as the re-focusing of the research, theory and praxis of applied sport psychology aspects and interventions that promote mental health at sport context) that I propose, among other things. And also, you´ll have the opportunity to read the contents of this site in Spanish.

Finally, since this phenomenon in sports is very poorly investigated, I invite the reader is to promote and take part in the increase of new research and proposals for structuring a systemic synergy.
